On the eve of Women's Day, I am very happy to inform you that on 6th March 2024, Ms. Baleshwari Ashok Shirodiye (B.Sc. Part-III Botany student, Batch 2023-24) and Ms. Vaishnavi Chachane (B.Sc. Part-III Botany student, Batch 2022-23) from Arvindbabu Deshmukh Mahavidyalaya, Bharsingi has been awarded with 'WEnyan Research Fellow Award' for making a significant milestone in her research. This event was held at Chandrashekhar Auditorium, IUCAA, Pune organised by PKC Pune and BASF India Ltd. 
Ms. Baleshwari Ashok Shirodiye is also the recipient of the 'WEnyan Scholarship' (Rs. 10,000/- per month for 3 months). This scholarship aims to incentivize women to pursue a career in science, wherein the girls from underprivileged/ marginalized communities are supported to work on scientific projects in research institutions. 
 Ms. Baleshwari Ashok Shirodiye is among the 13 students from the state of Maharashtra (for the year 2023-24), selected through a highly competitive process for this scholarship.  She is the Second student from our institute to get the scholarship for undertaking the B.Sc. Project at the campus.  This is definitely a proudful moment for all of us.
 Ms. Baleshwari and Vaishnavi gave all credit to the head of institute Dr. Prakash D. Pawar (Principal), Teaching Staff and her parents for all kinds of encouragement and support.
